What We Do
We are here for you and your family.
Intensive Out-Patient (IOP)
Tailoring therapy to meet patient's precise needs.
Adolescents and young adults; ages 12-23. Upon admission, each patient will go through an extensive intake assessment and past history with a licensed/ masters prepared mental health clinician. The patient will receive a standardized diagnostic personality test (MMPI(A)) to determine specific target areas, develop an individualized treatment plan, and help in the therapeutic assessment process.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Offering expansive treatment methods.
Using an evidenced-based approach, we educate adolescents, young adults, and their families’, skills to address self-destructive, maladaptive behaviors. We offer a 10-12 week program where patients and their families will focus on behavioral skills including: mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and the middle path. Other treatment modalities incorporated include; 12-step model, hands on activities, specialty groups, and experiential therapies such as art and yoga.
Interactive Group Therapy
Providing specialized group therapy.
Both patients and their families benefit from a group approach and positive social support. Parents also participate in varied groups, which have been developed to provide parent education and coaching, skills training, and parental support. Each parent works on gaining an understanding and acceptance of their own family dynamics. Our clinicians are dedicated to working with families and the patient to promote change.
Outpatient Individual and Family Therapy
Providing specialized outpatient individual and family therapy.
We have independent licensed practitioners with different specialities and treatment modalities that are tailored to patients and families. We accept patients of all ages. An intake assessment will be completed during the first session and the appropriate clinician will be assigned (unless you specifically are referred and/or have a preference).
