  • What We Do

We are here for you and your family.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Intensive Out-Patient (IOP)

Our program provides DBT in an IOP setting.

Using an evidence-based approach, we provide DBT skills training to adolescents, young adults, and their families. We focus on teaching skills to address self-destructive, maladaptive behaviors, which include chronic suicidal ideations, self-injurious behavior, chronic anxiety / social anxiety, eating disorder behaviors, and co-occurring substance abuse.

Our 12-16 week IOP program is where patients and their families will focus on DBT skills, including mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and the middle path. Other treatment modalities include hands-on activities, specialty groups, and experiential therapies such as art and yoga.

    Individualized Group Therapy - IOP

    Providing specialized group therapy.

Both patients and their families benefit from a group approach and positive social support. Parents also participate in varied groups, which have been developed to provide parent education and coaching, skills training, and parental support. Each parent works on gaining an understanding and acceptance of their own family dynamics. Our clinicians are dedicated to working with families and the patient to promote change.
